I could have danced all night

I could have danced all night. But if the spirit was willing the flesh was calling out for sleep. And so with nostalgia, I left the DITAC venue last night, savouring every moment of the afternoon and evening spent with all of you who joined me in my last event as a District Governor.

It’ll take some time before I can stop saying “Thank You” to all of you—for the support, the friendship and most especially, the inspiration that now marks one of the high points in my life. And if this is so, I think it would be wise for me to start my string of gratitude now.

I thank the Rotary Club of Cabuyao Circle and Chairman Barbs for all the work that went in hosting this massive event. The hard work you showed was amazing. If there were hitches and glitches, they paled in comparison to the fun and fellowship that filled the hall. Congratulations for a job well done; you’re ready to host a DISCON. But first, have a District Governor from your club selected.
